alvagate Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 hi i know alec just thought i would see if any more distance lads had changed there thoughts
Blue Tooner Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 the longest channel race should be and always has been six hundred miles plus All channel races apart from Ypres are 600+miles to me, which makes it very, very difficult but this has got to be the aim of every distance fancier, to compete at 600+miles. I'm not scared of an empty clock cos I know full well that one good clock in wipes away all the no shows. There a quite a few excellent 500mile pigeons but 600mile pigeons are a different beast altogether. jmo.
slinky slitheroe Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 to fly all channel races over five hundred miles and not a cop out like ypresHave to agree ypres is a joke for a channel race.
