I think this is a great idea and should have been implement years ago. Taken from the Alberta Classic!

You are right, Hal. Maybe the flame of curiosity is just about extinguished.

Our club results can be found ... sults.html(not relevant to idea nor of an interest to most)

You can see that we have again an "A Release - 10 bird entry limit" and a "B Release / Race' with no entry limit". I consider this to be an excellent arrangement because it allows the fancier with a large team to fly all of his birds and yet also provides a level playing field for all the fanciers. (RPM At club LEVEL ONE CAN ENTER JUST 10 ON CARD FOR 'A RELEASE') the Others are in the 'B Release'.

The smaller and less competitive club in Edmonton uses the same system and it is also showing this arrangement to be a good solution: http://www.northlandsinvitationalhoming ... results.html Of course all result / performances are valid in Fed etc.

This would also encourage fanciers to be more conspicuous of their' birds health and form etc.

Barry Andrews , a great flyer, always encouragement me to try and write down the order of all birds returns. A great improving and learning strategy for all and any one. Their condition and motivation was noted of course.
