Wunderground history is a site worth looking at it is the weather site for airports and is up dated every 15 mins/30 mins

depending on airfield

put in your race point/town it will go to nearest airfield

scroll down to bottom of page you can see how weather is changing along line of flight

ripon raf leeming EGXE

sedgefield/aycliffe durham/teesvalley EGNV

some smaller airfield/gliding clubs provide weather updates
