Where i have my loft in the garden is close to loads of wires.. trees.. then obviously the buildings and ive a fence quite tight to the loft round my garden..

 

so the birds have a lot to get used to..(especially when its windy) the majority of my ybs are just finding their wings.. would you avoid letting them out when its windy? Or get them out for a few hours and let them get used to it?

I have my lofts in a similar placing, its blowing strong South/easterly winds here in Derry today and my Yb team are locked up in the lofts.

Don't like letting em oot when its Windy especially when they're just starting to get airborne !! Bit of a nightmare because I've only had em oot once or twice in the past week or so because of the wind :emoticon-0179-headbang:
