I'm sure you only get a certain amount of time to edit when first posted, and not at all if a reply has been made

yes you only get so long to edit your post, yes would mess up threads if you was able to change posts, if its a genuine mistake you can get a mod to edit it as long as its not messing up answers etc

A hit the post button by accident before I had finished the post and tried tae retrieve it and edit right away Ian. There may be a good reason for time limiting but if there is giggery pokery by some members altering other guys posts block them altogether and let us edit our own posts.....Jmo no want tae start a rammy over it.
