Guest Freebird Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 Hi folks, not been on here for a while. Just to say I've just got in a young blue bar GB16 B 35720. Hoping someone can give me a number to call. The bird is healthy but thin. I'm just up the road from Grangemouth. I keep tumblers so it's being fed and watered.Cheers.

REDCHEQHEN Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 I would report via the RPRA stray page. Seems a long way from home otherwise. You will get the owners details straightaway

You will get the owners details straightawayThanks, I have reported to RPRA as advised and I will also phone the number supplied by paddymac above. I'm hoping this bird has been sold to someone a bit closer as it seems kinda far from home. Am I right in thinking the young bird racing starts in august?Cheers.

Guest Freebird Posted June 22, 2016 Report Posted June 22, 2016 PASSED ON UR NUMBER CHEERS Thanks. He called yesterday and I have brought the bird into my work today as I work in centre of Edinburgh as we arranged pick up here at around 2pm. I tried calling him to make sure he is coming but no reply. Can you prompt him to call me please. Thanks
Guest Freebird Posted June 22, 2016 Report Posted June 22, 2016 That's the bird back with its owner who informed me it was lost 4 weeks ago. As I said it was thin but looked very healthy apart from it's tired eyes and bright green watery droppings. In the 4 days I had that bird it perked up really well and put on a fair amount of weight and the droppings looked good enough to eat The guy knows my uncle, Wullie Hume who fly's in the same club. I've not seen Wullie since his 60th birthday. Small world eh!Cheers mate.
