Birds working through moffat yesterday heading north

Clubmates Ewan & alan hind from Corrie approx 7miles East of lockerbie on top of the hill reported groups of up to 150 heading north west ish between 12 noon and 1pm

North west wind yesterday yet these birds were obviously heading direct A to B

most likely ayrshires fed tappers in just about 1 ish but I got a pasting yesterday 2/12 nothing else this morning

I think the Lanarkshire doos have found a rout down throw the hills now and sticking to it no matter the wind direction it will be interesting to c wot happens when wee get a strong west wind
