Guest jason Posted May 11, 2016 Report Posted May 11, 2016 I would not train inexperienced young birds on a Saturday or a Sunday when there is federations racing on that day as there was today (8th) the chuck was only 3 mile from home, and I expected them to do it without a problem. I got 2 more back yesterday morning, so that's 32 back and got 1 reported last night in Bury....which I'm collecting today.
Guest jason Posted May 14, 2016 Report Posted May 14, 2016 Had 2 more reported.....one in Huddersfield and one in Stoke on Trent !!! also had a couple more turn up and Got to the club last night and one is in another members loft.... so when I've collected these...that will be 38 back out of 40, so not too bad.

Guest jason Posted May 15, 2016 Report Posted May 15, 2016 I've had 33 of the youngsters at 4 miles this morning...... I arrived home and was just taking the baskets out of the car, when they all turned up.....so a very successful training chuck this morning phew! :emoticon-0136-giggle: as for feeding and medication....... I won't be telling :emoticon-0136-giggle:
Guest jason Posted June 21, 2016 Report Posted June 21, 2016 not updated this thread for a while.... I've lost a few youngsters, I started with 42 and I've 28 left, but these are now coming very well from 30 mile chucks. I'm keeping them at 30 mile for the rest of this week, then I'll be moving them a bit further. Jason
