I was driving to Dover to cross to France. had a few strays to toss down that part of the country. <_< Well arrived early at the docks and to dark to throw birds out. So drove into the port and was asked by customs to open the boot up. (spot check). CUSTOMS never even mentioned the pigeons. While waiting for boat I lib.birds in semi darkness in-side port, which was well lit up with lights before boarding. Saved them going to FRANCE.   So would think no problem.
