Following a Transport Committee meeting on the 5th November 2015, the 2016 race programme has now been agreed and will be as follows;

Old Birds

16th April, Stratford

23rd April, Windrush

30th April, Marlborough

7th May, Salisbury

14th May, Poole

21st May, Marlborough

28th May, Salisbury and Carentan (SR)

4th June, Poole

11th June, Marlborough and Fourgeres (SR)

18th June, Salisbury

25th June, Poole and Messac (SR)

2nd July, Marlborough

9th July, Salisbury and Niort (SR)

 

Young Birds

23rd July, Coventry

30th July, Stratford

6th August, Windrush

13th August, Windrush

20th August, Marlborough

27th August, Marlborough

3rd September, Salisbury

10th September, Poole (SR)

(SR) denotes a federation special race.

 

Marking stations for channel racing will be decided at a later date.

I think there is plenty time later in the year so wish our fed would start a bit later,probably most do wish that,but none of us are obliged to start early but we still do

We normally start the first week in April and a lot of lads are not ready so the birdage is usually down.
