I have loads of them around me, which look ok, dont seem to be as much crows around so maybe the reason there are so much as the crows used to get the youngsters out of the nests,

Noticed of late the amount of woodies coming into garden that are that full of canker they cant close there beaks or feed, already had 2 dead ones

 

with out testin them ...how do ye know its canker????

First time I've seen it myself, and some of these I have been feeding for couple years, was thinking could there be any links with any sick birds in lofts

They have probably been dead and there mouths are full of blue bottle eggs ( yellow ) that's where they lay them

No they are alive, well they was, definately canker though seen it on birds before
