I don't often get strays but had one yesterday with a contact injury underneath but legs and wings fine, this is a Bl. with a national ring, GB 14 N 94646, I have tried reporting but their stray site is down at the moment, I have three sections of tower scaffolding in a triangle to keep a large box cage on where I put the stray, went out this morning and on return went to feed the birds and hanging dead from the scaffolding was a super looking white mealy, surprised by the ring No. as I'm in South West Wales, SU 14 S 4555 with race rubber, I was gutted as it really was a cracker, it might not have been a winner on the road but it would have taken some beating in the show pen. The two ends of the scaffold weren't attached just pushed near each other which left a gap at the top not much more than an inch and were together at the bottom, somehow it had managed to get it's head one side and body the other, slid down and was trapped, sad end when it was close to being rescued
