Stray Pigeons

I went on a tour today visiting Tommy Boys in Blantyre to collect 2 strays. From there I ventured into darkest South Lanarkshire and spent an enjoyable hour with an ex-fancier from Symington. His daughter had picked up one of my pigeons from her garden in the Hawick area. We had quite a "chin wag", she knew some of my near neighbours through the dogs, Border Terriers and we talked canine for a time since I used to exhibit Boxers. Two strays from there, then the journey home. 1 bashed up pigeon for a Cumnock fancier and another for someone else in Ayrshire are now with Mick Hilland awaiting repatriation. I have two from a terrible, for me, Otterburn race.
