Sunday past, the brother and I paid a visit to one of if not the best National fancier in Scotland at the present time to see what I had to do to level the playing field at the distance. We were left reeling at their magnifigance, handling bird after bird that had reached the pinnacle of National success at 500-600 miles and wondered how simple it could be with the proper bloodlines. Handling a pigeon which had bred 14 Individual National Diploma Winners left me speechless. The hospitality we also received was second to none and what the pigeon fraternity was about. Where were we ?? David Jamieson at East Calder.
