Parker Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Hi Guys I keep reading Sprint, Sprint/Middle, Long Distance, but what are the distance's plus if I was thinking of buying any I would buy "horses for courses" as I have also read about "All Purpose" which I would be doubtful about one strain covering all. I live about 30 miles from Cardiff, whats the popular distance to go for to race ? Parker
Kyleakin Lofts Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Sprint up to 200 miles, middle up to 400 miles and distance to 500+ miles, some say marathon over 700 miles, roughly speaking.Depends on your situation which you decide, family life etc.Sprint and middle are one day races, the others can stretch into 2 or more days. The racing systems for each type of racing also varies and you should find a system that suits your lifestyle, then stick to it.
Parker Posted November 30, 2014 Author Report Posted November 30, 2014 thanks Andy, tick that question off the list P
