Believe the quote was over 2 and half k

 

 

who ever charge 2.5 k and set the job away at that needs to be put of the job, before he takes a week to finish no way if he was on the tools would he use 4x2 min 6x2 he has no restrictions in joist depth and a wee 4x 4 h steel beam set on pillars would take up the deflection in the centre

Hard to see from the images,but if heavy duty joist hangers could be fitted into the masonry on all of the elevations with adequate timber joists,then I believe this would be the most cost efficient solution

no just don't like to see the pigeon guys taken for mugs all the materials can be got out reclaimed yards for a lot less
