Guest Vic Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Tammy, me too! Is this over the ETS and the forming of another so called "NATIONAL" club. Vic.
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Tammy, me too! Is this over the ETS and the forming of another so called "NATIONAL" club. Vic. it stems from that, it is about those who walked out to join the rpra and some of them were suspended, at the last shu council meeting i was at the president mr barlow had said he was not having a great deal of response from the cumbria region where most of the suspended members joined, and there did not seem to be a lot of assistance from the cumbria region in contacting mr barlow to try and resolve this problem so i think this is why it has went back to the rpra
frank-123 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 good to see the rrpa and the shu sitting down and talking like gentlemen to overcome the problem of suspended members maybe when the shu are there they might offer an olive branch to try and get our scottish fanciers back on board rather than getting them band from racing maybe maybe maybe anyway good to see some change at the shu at last its good to talk
ME2 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Well you would have thought it would have been the top table members of the SHU COUNCIL, namely messrs Barlow, Noble,Gibson amd Seretary Brooks, but I have heard on the grapevine as usual mr Barlow has his own agenda for this as he had decided to ask along another council member mr Ronnie Crealie from the Pentland Fed without consulting anybody, there has to be a question asked as to why this council member and only this one was asked to attend the meeting this fed has never had a suspended member, I know some council members who were not aware of this taking place with mr Crealie in attendance, . There are council members who have had about 25 years experince working with the council and were not even consulted about it and other council members never even heard about it. DEJA VOUS MR J BARLOW

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Is it any wonder pigeon racing is in a mess with the who cares attitude democracy has went out the window dictators run things the way they want without any say from the members but we only want to race our birds so who cares excellent reply K T , will try and get a photo of davie at our fed presentation the night, hopefully one of him sleeping in a corner
sj irving jnr Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 well its the first ive herd tam,was at fed meeting on wed night, not a word said, but mark goldie (our delegate)was not there he is just out of hospital.
gangster Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 seems to me like 1 or 2 have got there own agendas going on........do these guys realise they are representatives of there respected regions/feds and therefore speaking on there behalf without consultation..seems like its out of order..............its your shu and you should be consulted before these meetings for your feelings on issues.............
johno Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 17 at meeting. 9 shu barlow, garven, gibson, creelie, brooks, noble jarvis 2, plus one other. 8 rpra. blacklock, geddes shaw, martin, nelson and 3 other. no change.
gangster Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 SO ALL IN ALL A WASTE OF TIME THEN..............
Ian McKay Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Ah but a good time was had by all and at our expense. :D :D :D :D :D :D
gangster Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 AGREED IAN ID LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE COST WAS AS WELL....
THE FIFER Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 the only thing i would say is, i thought the rpra was the governing body so why if there is a problem with cumbria is cumbria dealing with it themself, its like me being taken to court and judging my own case, surely this is something between the shu and the rpra, who is suposed to be the governing body,
THE FIFER Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 THERE IS A MEETING IN GRETNA TODAY WITH THE SHU AND RPRA TO DISCUSS THE PROBLEM OF THE CURRENT SUSPENDED SHU MEMBERS, DOES ANY BODY FROM SCOTLAND KNOW IS REPRESENTING THE SHU AT THIS MEETING WHICH TAKES PLACE AT THREE OCLOCK , OR IS THERE ANYBODY GOING, OR IS THERE ANYBODY WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS THIS MEETING IS TAKING PLACE ? it was a meeting between the shu and cumbria, it should be the rpra as they are suposed to be the governing body, not bad when they let a region defend itself,
johno Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 i think no change means it is sorted out as far as i can see. i do not think the rpra has ever had a problem. reports on the meeting yesterday indicate that the only so called problems on the table were distinctly identified as belonging to the shu. the current situation in rosyth would appear to be of major concern to the shu and the fed involved. the high per centage of fanciers leaving fife fed was also a major worry for shu and fife clearly shu issues. the heavy drop in memebership appears to be being taken on as people have now realised the financial implications to fed shu and other organisations involved. nothing much else discussed.
frank-123 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 probably sitting with the wrongs guys yesterday they should be sitting with the members who left trying to get them to come back the rpra aint going to say no to a lot of new members are they
gangster Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I AGREE BART BUT THE RPRA SHOULD HAVE REFUSED MEMBERSHIP THEREFORE FORCING THE MEMBERS BACK TO THE TABLE TO SORT THE ISSUES OUT BUT THEY DID NOT.........................
johno Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 shu business is shu business. rpra business is rpra business. rpra have no responsibility to shu members. and vice versa. clearly both have their own set of rules. shu need to take on board their own problems.
me Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I AGREE BART BUT THE RPRA SHOULD HAVE REFUSED MEMBERSHIP THEREFORE FORCING THE MEMBERS BACK TO THE TABLE TO SORT THE ISSUES OUT BUT THEY DID NOT......................... gangster there has alwas been a lot of RPRA members in Scotland just as there has alwas been a lot of RPRA members in Ireland and in Wales its ridiculus to suggest the main pigeon association in the UK should refuse membership to pigeon fanciers in the UK. Lets all get on with racing our doos its much more fun than indulging in nasty petty vendettas trust "me"
Guest Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Every one seems to know who thease suspended members are exept the suspended members so what did they do to get suspended and were all the proper procuders carried out ? and were they notified by recorded delivery i dont think so infact i know they were NOT ! i cant say about them all but at least 4/5 were suspended after their fed resigned from the shu but because it didnt go the shu way they want the rpra to uphold an illegal suspension that was handed out 2/3months after they joined the rpra or was it because they joined the rpra??? get over it mr barlow and grow up we are away now and you should be glad we wont be their to try and stop all the goings on of you and your GANG.
