Roland Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Saw an article just back a piece, before my P.c. went up the shoot about 'Peta' and having to watch out for them so called 'do gooders'. Well they are obviously a hypocritical shower I guess, that have no room t o spout about behavior towards our pets etc. and should really practice what they preach and get money for. Seems to me that all these concerns are of am 'Self' mode and just money making concerns. R.S.P.C.A, and the RSPB topping the list! Please read http://www.petakillsanimals.com/

Please read http://www.petakillsanimals.com/ I found that link quite shocking especially since I have been a supporter or PETA for many years,if it's true then I certainly won't be supporting them much longer but then again you have to ask yourself who is behind this website as PETA have upset alot of big compannies by unveiling massive cruelty.Compannies like KFC who pluck and chop up chickens while they are still alive and Iams dog food who routinely chop up pet dogs and so called dog lovers buy it!.
invalidusername Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 There's a lot of money behind this smear campaign, so I think Chrissy is right. It's big business masquerading as a concern for animal welfare. The one sided stats suggest to me that the site isn't worth the screen it's written on.
Roland Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 Written via the New York Times of a GOVERMENT documentry after being forced to own up to just what they really stood for etc, and to explain where the $30,000, 000 goes etc. Quote 'Responding to our formal legal request, the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) has released PETA's 2007 "Animal Record" report.' end of quote etc. etc. Now with all their public sympathy, and money the next questions that beggers answerrs are 'Why didn't repudiante it, and B. Even threathen to sue, let alone acyually sue! After all America is the instigator and main stay of Suing willy nilly. wHY HAS THE WWW/l SAVE the Tiger CHANGED IT'S NAME?! WHY DO THEY WANT TO KEEP THE £bILLIONS they have, and as yet done nowt! Indeed why is the Tunasumi Funds untouched. Them Billions are 'Quote' ' Too late to do any thing regards this last Tusami... so are keeping incase there is another'! Just why don't you ever see, or can get an RSPCA officer to look at some disturbing local cruelty? Undermanne! Unless a big spread in the media, and TV Coverage... out everywhere then rattling the'Tins' eh! Why is when I put it to an 'Animal RightS' compaigner that I am also one, that I believe that if we feel strongly enough we would refuse any medication that has any bearing to animals suffering! Indeed make a stand and get where earnt P

Indeed make a stand and get where earnt Press coverage, indeed media via Tv exposure. Simple things even, like aspro's... or any more serious pain / suffering. I mean why do we want Anti biotic's, Penisilium etc. last one packed he's stool up and buggered off chuntering that we needed Medicences to allieviate pain, and further that they were a bloody good thing... never said bugger the expense though lol.

Then why would the site be left to run and why are the site administrators not being sued by PETA or at least taken to court for slander :-/
Guest beautyhomer Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Nothing new to me in this.Heard a few years ago that they put down most of the healthy animals they took in rather than rehome them. They think most humans are unfit to look after animals so it is kinder for them to be destroyed.Like most animal rights groups they have very good PR campaigns to con the public.

Very true and apt... in as much as we need, and I forever keeping banging the drum, we need more than ever a P.R. firm. We see the prove of te pudding in so very many walks of life every day.
bewted Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 your on about PETA,but, what about the organisations that do the same here in this country like the RSPCA etc,,,,,think about it,,,,,they cant keep everything that nobody wants,,,,,battersea does the same !!!! most organisations do the same in the uk and nobody does anything !!!!
bewted Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 and to add to my message as i forgot about it until i was reminded just now,,,,,,what about the approximately 62 dogs that were put down by the RSPCA all because of the credit crunch ????
Roland Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 Yes, and look at all the Greyhounds etc. etc. But they have Good P.R. Firms.
bewted Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 every one has good P.R firms,,,,,not us pigeon fanciers ,,,,typical !!!!
ohiogsp Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I can't believe anyone would support peta if they knew what they stood for. I assume everyone on here keeps birds right? Well peta does not support that "they don't believe anyone should have any pets or keep any animal in anyway, they think animal should roam the earth free". This acticle is true and they can sue over it if they want but it is just for show to make people think it is not true. Here is something good to watch about peta just watch the whole thing it will be very eye opening. Oh, and this has been out there for years and peta can't do a thing about it. http://www.zippyvideos.com/9679762012931896/penn_and_teller_bullshit_peta/
Roland Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 How very true. Money first last and any left once again I fear.
the pigeon_milker Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I can't believe anyone would support peta or some of the other Charity's not just animals ones as they all seem to just want the money but do very little for the cause itself (peta against keeping pets) when these animals would be on the earth at all if was not for people breeding them that would mean pigeons would have been wiped of the earth many years ago carnt be doing with all these do gooders who say they care about animal welfare and let infected animals out of farms for research and such to run free and kill all the wildlife i dont like cruelty to any animal but have killed them for food or to end they misery
Roland Posted October 4, 2008 Author Report Posted October 4, 2008 WWF has had to change it's name... has Billions, spent nowt. Save the Tiger fund likewise it would appear. Tusami hasn't spent, but is wait incase there is another. Golly couldn't even quickly mamager to set the Water cleansing up. would have been only a short spat of time.....
