my mate sent 4 birds to compete in this race all birds are still there.the cost of the entry for 4 birds was 500pounds now they are saying that to actvate the fourth bird they want another 125 pounds any one else who entered this race get the same phone call or is it just another scam

surely he read the rules before entering, it should confirm there what is activated and what additional money may be needed

nope my mate is only competing in the who dares wins olr and has read all the small print so it came as a bombshell when he got the call for a further 125 quid could it be a scam phone call?

George if that's the entry form tinkerbells posted it clearly states 3 birds activated for £500

plus 1 reserve

 

would think its only an option to activate the 4th bird

otherwise usually they become available to anyone to purchase

 

im going by other one loft race rules here

I can assure you that no one from who dares wins has rung anyone asking for any monies . If your friend gets any more of these calls I strongly advise him to contact the police . Who dares win will be speaking to their solicitors today regarding this matter as it seems someone is using the name (whodareswinsoneloftrace) to con people out of money
