Basketed our birds on Tuesday with a liberation on Friday,hoping to repeat last years win but 530 miles is a long way,we have sent five 2 year old birds ,3 hens and 2 cocks,one of the cocks is the same way bred as our good grizzle hen that flew this race for fun going there 3 years on the trot,improving her position every year till she won it last year and she was obviously put to stock,with the wind forecast as north it will be a hard race but the birds were bred for the job so just need a bit of luck .
