lastdrop Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 The fashion this year appears to be to inform everyone of the number of birds you clock in. This number seems to get higher as the race progresses. If someone clocks 3 then someone else clocks 4. Surely the information is for the 1st. bird clocked per fancier to give everyone a picture of how a race is unfolding.
grdkeith Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 dont agree !! it is also valuable info for percentage of birds arriving home
lastdrop Posted June 21, 2014 Author Report Posted June 21, 2014 You only know the percentage if you know how many each fancier has sent
harry h Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 You only know the percentage if you know how many each fancier has sent Well it's easy to work mine out for todays race 1 from 6 = sheit.
grdkeith Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 You only know the percentage if you know how many each fancier has sentbut if there are plenty of returns then it will probably be a good race, if you are north of the time ins then you would know there was a better chance of a good race
lastdrop Posted June 21, 2014 Author Report Posted June 21, 2014 With up to 40 mins between some fanciers 1st and last recorded birds the race will have moved well north since they clocked in.
