Years ago I watched a batch of youngsters heading toward the pylons at the bargeddie junction on M8. , some hit the wires and fell , I got off next junction and walked about a mile back through the fields to where I thought the birds hit the wire , I looked around for 20 mins and found one pour bird , head was missing , took clean off , but found no more , reported this to shu to inform member of what happened , I thought I might of got a week call from said member , but I'm still waiting , 20 yrs on maybe he has/had no credit in his mobile eh.? But this is maybe one reason why this bird lost its head . Ps this was a Lanarkshire youngster.
