I heard a fancier talking about toxins building up in the blood causing the pigeons to slow down. His remedy was to dose with Andrews Liver Salts once per week on a Wednesday.

 

What are your opinions on this matter. I do tend to feed heavy and my pigeons are on open hole. :)

I agree ;) but many have moved away from liver salts ;) clay blocks are good as well and most use a junkies med to detox with also stops birds been sluggish / slow ;) Guess it's a bit like changing the engine oil ;) the car will run better afterwards ;)
