I had flowers on my loft aswell but the birds kept lying in the baskets so had to get rid of them

AS LONG AS MY MUMS HAPPY WITH THE LOFT BEING THERE IF IT MAKES HER HAPPY TO PUT FLOWERS UP THEN SHE CAN LOL   ;D ON RACE DAY I JUST REMOVE THE BASKETS LOL  ;D

;D i remember when i was a small boy and a lot of lofts around ,a fancier in our club whos loft faced east shifted it one morning to face south , just like most did in our area . he had done it in a few hours and completed 10 mins before birds returned from a race ;D ;D yup it was a saturday morning he decided to make the change  ;D ;D ;D he didnt win by the way ;D  andy

Your right birds get used to anything

I have one that comes and sleeps on the wood pile next to my table saw, I was up a ladder hammering and one landed on my leg and sat there quite happy

I ONLY REMOVE THE BASKETS AS THEY ARE NEXT TO TRAP AND GET IN THE WAY SO I SLIDE THEM UNDER THE LOFT OTHER FLOWERS STAY PUT

Aye tried that before, broke a bedroom window , my own,, put a small dent in a car bonnet after it slipped out my hand and went the wrong way, good job they were still in bed  and i got the bone out before they saw it  :B :B so decided would use a catapult and small pebbles,went over the roof and smashed a side window in a car, they blamed the kids next door, :B :B so gave them up as being a bad habit and started using tennis balls   :D
