A few photos of my stock birds

[The White Rapido Man]

was just messing about with the camera this morning in the stock lofts....the birds have finished moulting and are looking like film stars.......just thought I'd share a few pictures with you.

 

 

Amongst them I have Busschaert Rapidos

Loguns

Karel Hermans

and the large b/b heavily wattled cock is a Van - Loon....hes 10 years old and probably my favourite bird.

Suprisingly this bird is a 7 year old Karel Herman from the Stock loft of the Ward Brothers in South Emsall...despite its Rapido looks.....he is a very highly decorated pigeon in terms some of the races he has won.

The old boy is a cracker......there alot of history behind that bird....he's not so good on his legs nowadays, but is still filling....I'm going to try and float some of his eggs, as he is class..........I suppose the proof will be in the flying though!!!!

................thanks.......I am even contemplating racing the whites along with my coloured Ybs I'm going to breed next year for my first seasons racing.

 

We'll see then how they really match up
