Guest dogeon Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 here are a few pictures of some of my lofts and a few birds
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 that laminate walling yes the stuff that looks like tiles
Guest dogeon Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 i had some spare laminate floor tiles so i divided the hen and cocks also very easy to scrape clean
Guest shadow Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 I would put more vents in the front at floor level and some at the back just under the eaves if not already done
chickadee Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Nice lofts and birds, I like the second bird and the last bird. ;D They are all nice but I like them best. ;D
Guest dogeon Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 I would put more vents in the front at floor level and some at the back just under the eaves if not already done yes i know that now and are being done asap but thinking on using plstic vents or take a board off two from the bottom and puting wire there i have vents at the back eaves of loft at the loft
DOVEScot Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 yes i know that now and are being done asap but thinking on using plstic vents or take a board off two from the bottom and puting wire there i have vents at the back eaves of loft at the loft Is the front panels line or just bare boarding?
Guest dogeon Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Is the front panels line or just bare boarding? its tounge and groove
DOVEScot Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 its tounge and groove Easiest way to keep it strong is put a piece of plywood at least 2" bigger all round than the vent inside the tounge and groove, then cut hole out the size of the vents with a jig saw. You can attach wire to the insie aswell for extra security

Guest dogeon Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 oh thats good as my lofts are facing directly south i put them that way as i fly from the south and thought they would trap easier
DOVEScot Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 oh thats good as my lofts are facing directly south i put them that way as i fly from the south and thought they would trap easier I put external plywood the same size as the vents on the outside as well and put a drip strip on top to stop any rain being blown in
