dont worry about asking questions m8 thats how you learn id buy my youngbirds from a good local flyer or two of the best you can afford or go to louella and buy them dont race them this year just train them so you have a team to breed from next year you can then race them and have youngbirds for next year all depends how much you can afford to spend good luck to you

Defo get in touch with some local fanciers in your area ,most of pigeon men won't sell you there best

Especially if you will be flying against them there is the odd exception ,get advice from them I'm sure they will

help u in some way .As said by Walter Get a couple of kits from Louella breed of them ,then breed of there

Children ,this is where the good birds will come from ,there is no easy way to get a family of birds unless

You have the money to buy one .also you can go to an entire clearance sale and buy some proven birds

But they don't come cheap.Im not trying to dishearten you but that's how it is .good luck whatever you decide

To do.

Some widowhood fliers let their team raise a youngster or two each after racing. These youngsters would be bred out of pigeons that have raced for at least two years (if raced as youngsters), having knowledge that these youngsters are bred from performance pigeons I feel would be the way to go.
