a pair of young birds their parents seen in the above pics pure white hen red and white cock in the bath now remember i'm new to this i though and now proved wrong that i would have got red and white fantails these birds look very dark feathered were did that come from

all very nice birds mikko,,, unusual to see two dark beak yb,s bred from two  light beak ones  :)  plus the colour unusual :), maybe a throw back in the breeding,, be interesting to see them when their older,,,good luck with them :)

Nice photos etc  ;D ;D ;D bit crowded in the bath thou  ;) ;) ;) might just pay to upgrade  :) :) :) to a bigger size in my view  :P :P :P. My size bath !!!!!!!!, takes 60 litres to fill as an example.

hi to all of you and thanks for the comments the answer to your question we my grandson 18 months old and myself were hoping to get indian fantails but alass they are like gold dust as they say but i'm working on it just after getting another today thats 3 indians we have all from billy at IndianFantailsIreland.com really nice birds and we have 3 pair garden fantails just as an interest and jack loves them to feeding from his hand chasing them around the yard so we will be keeping both for a while anyway just seeing jack play and enjoy his brds is great micko

Get one of these old shower bases from the skip, they make great baths  :)

 

 

What a beauty  ;) ;) ;) next time mine rusted out, because of all the salt I put in it etc  ;D ;D ;D I'm going to get one of those. Not a bad idea in my view, & you can pick them up cheap.

You can even plumb them in, you have to change the shower drain to a bath drain that takes a plug :)

hi nice pic s of the fantails  , a good type off pigeon too keep very tame & fun to keep    make good pets for the young 1 s too start with

 

 

I'll second that, my fantails are far tamer than my racers yet as they are free flying, from a dovecote, I spend far less time with them.  :)
