Every season I seem to have / get one youngster that goes off by it's self at night, to return next day at around 4 : 30 feeding time. Can't recall how thet fare though later, or indeed how long this trait stays with them. I think it must just be going to that massive loft of 100's just behind me... the ole derelict picture house.

Lose some every season there now for last 3/4 years.

i used to loose loads when at allotment to the derelict building around it full of ferials , good pigeons wont stray from home , seems this pigeon has no love for home , so in my eyes this bird has failed before it's started
