Just had a yb drop on the loft this morning in pouring rain , I recognised it as one of the sixteen I dropped in a training toss , imagine my surprise to see it race rubbered, Some people are desperate!!!

Dont always think that someone is racing a yb because it comes back with a race rubber on,I,ve known many fanciers put strays in the baskets that may be from the area where the race is from,they are really giving the bird a better chance of returning home but have to put a rubber on its leg incase someone sees it in the basket and thinks there,s a fiddle going on.

had youngsters back with the wrong colour rubber in the past and thought something was underhand but you have a good [valid] point there pigeon man :emoticon-0167-beer:
