• Sorry to trouble you, but rather than go through joining your Pigeon basics forum, please could you make whoever aware that we have had their bird come take up residence with us!

• The bird has been here about two weeks. It flew down and sat on my husband's lap tonight.
• 
  
• We've put it in an old rabbit hutch we have. It's absolutely starving and as we keep chickens we've given it some mash and a bit of the corn feed we use. It's also got water.
• 
  
• Now's the problem ... the 01332 number is in the Derby area ... we live in an SP6 postcode, just south of Salisbury. We're in Hampshire on the edge of the New Forest, so I don't know where the race was that the bird has got lost from!
