Tony C Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Pop a couple of cod liver oil capsules down her throat & repeat a couple of times a day. Bath her around the vent area in very hot water and massage the vent area whilst doing so, repeat this every few hours.
Guest geordiejen Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 sounds like prolapse mate, lack of calcium in the developing shell will cause the hen to have problems laying.i cannot advise anymore than that as i had this happen to one of my hens a few years ago.hen went in the bin and i found out what causes it.
R.A.M.C.63 Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Cheers boys sounds lik we all same page, i give try tomorro, no rush to breed of her,
Guest chad3646 Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 should give a try of the old remedy, hold the pigeon over a boiled kettle not to close and let the steam get at it i have actually seen the egg fall out, if it is egg bound you better hurry and get it out or you will have a dead pigeon
