George Kelly ( R.I.P

I heard Saturday that it wasn't good for George, Lanarkshire have lost a GIANT of our Fed and the Scottish fancy have lost a man who dedicated his life to our sport and his wisdom will be sorely missed.

As much as it was expected i am gutted now he's gone. His knowledge, and the advice he gave me was invaluable and irreplaceable.

Rest in Peace George and God Bless you.

Like many pigeon fanciers have known George Kelly

for many years. A man of the highest integrity

who`s passing will sorely missed by the Scottish

pigeon fraternity

I picked up George for a meeting late 2012 and

as we chatted in the car he told me of his health

problems

His death although very very sad is also his release

Guys on behalf of the Kelly family the Funeral service will be this Friday at Newmains Church 11.30am then Up to Carstairs then back to Newmains Bowling Green for Remembrance Tea and everyone is welcome.There will also be a Bus leaving from Newmains to take those who wish up to Carstairs Cemetary.
