spotted the first racing pigeon of the year offshore on our helideck the day and its an su 12 ne ???? didnt get the number before it took off, it was a blue pied white flight cock

 

good news is that it was captured by the crew on the supply vessel edda fram along side us and is on its way to aberdeen on the vessel, hopefully he can make it home

 

we are approx 100 miles east of aberdeen on shell nelson platform
