tintin Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 The secretary and myself went down to our club house today just to set everything up for Friday, setting up ring marker, base station, printer etc. on checking base station was functioning correctly, it showed that we have to input an activation code. Now this had been done some 6/8 weeks ago where the secretary had assigned all rings , input new distances etc. I contacted Unikon and they said it may be because the 'time or date was wrong' (it wasn't) he eventually had to give us a new activation code to get the base station working, fortunately all the data was still in the base station, but he could not explain what had happened. The worrying thing is if we had not checked this today, we were fcuked on Friday.
Ian McKay Posted April 23, 2013 Report Posted April 23, 2013 They should know about it has been going on for years :emoticon-0179-headbang:

davidbart Posted April 24, 2013 Report Posted April 24, 2013 It happened at our club and only a month after the first update. You can check it as often as you like, but if it happens over the weekend at strike off the only thing you can do is take the pocket clocks to another Unikon club because Unicon only work office hours.
