philg50 Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 I have a Tauris ets loaned through my club which i must say i am gratefull in deed to Deveron Valley Banff club ,I have been trying it out on training toss ,how do i clear information recorded on clock before next traing toss ,i wonder if anyone can help.

The tauris system is not the easiest to do... here are the basics... or complex whatever you want to call them. load data(club, Fancier name, ring numbers) into software on pc. send fancier name and ring numbers to clock, once rings and fancier details are on clock follow this if you can. Assigning/Registering ETS Rings 1. Connect the clock to the club equipment2. Press Number 73. Press Number 7 Again4. Now use the arrow keys to search for the pigeon ring number you want to put the ETS ring on, when you find the correct number Press Hash5. Hold the ETS ring over the entry sensor/Ringer, the clock will bleep & say assigned6. Repeat numbers 4 & 5 until you have assigned all the pigeons you want too.7. Press Start8. Press Number 89. Select Number of Copies. Now You Need To Send This Information Back To The Computer 1.Re-Connect the clock to the computer using the PC cables2.Put the power lead into the side of the clock3.Press Start4.Press Number 35.Click on Communication on the PC & Select Get Loft Terminal To PC ( the 2nd one down )6.Type in your password for ( e.g 1111)7.Press Hash8.Press 39.Click on Communication on the PC & select the 3rd one down Send Race points PC to Terminal. once you have done this you then are ready to race and train. I will have a look at what I have written down for race marking for you.FRIDAY NIGHT MARKING 1. Connect the clock to the club equipment2. Press 73. Press Hash4. Press 75.You will be asked for the race point number press hash & use the up & down arrow keys to search for the race point, when you find the correct race point Press Hash. 5. Now hold each pigeon you want send to the race over the entry sensor, until you have marked all your pigeons.6. Press Start7. Wait for the main screen to come back on & Press Start again8. Press 3 (set clock) 9. Press Hash again10. After the clock has bleeped wait 2 seconds then Press Hash11. Press 8 (Print ) .12. Put in the Race Point Number again13. Press Hash, (repeat No11 to 13 for more copies) 14. After the print out just disconnect the clock & take it home. AT YOUR LOFT SATURDAY MORNING 1. Connect the Clock to the Sensor Pads2. Put the Power lead into the side of the Clock3. You can either Press 4 or wait 10 seconds & the clock will set itself to time pigeons in.Note: When the clock is set to time pigeons in the clock screen should say Race Timer 01 Sensor or if you have more sensor pads it will say for e.g Race Timer 02 Sensor, 03 Sensor, 04 Sensor. SATURDAY NIGHT STRIKING 1. Connect the clock to the club equipment2. Press 3 (set clock) or just press Hash3. Press Hash Again4. After the bleep wait 2 seconds then Press Hash5. Press 8 (Print) type in as many copies as you would like6. Put in the Race Point Number7. Press Hash8.After the print out Press 69. Put in your Password ( e.g 1111 )10.Press Hash Important if you are racing more than 1 race on the same day you must not Type in the Password until after you have printed off all the races you want to. TO PUT IN TRAINING MODE 1. Connect clock to sensor Pad/s2. Put Power lead in the side of the clock3. Press Start---Press 9---Press Hash To clear clock in Training Mode Press Start—Press 9----Press 0-----Press 9----Press Hashyou will need to run a dummy race to get a test done.this I do before the season.1 - Allocate rings, Clear old rings off and then print off 3 copies, sign the lot with other club officials. keep 2 in club and give 1 to member.2 - Do a test race, print it off and keep copy in club and give 1 to member.3 - Certificate to member that ets has passed test.4 - Check members lofts for pad positioning . For rpra the pad must not be able to clock a ring if the trap is closed. Easy to check in a minute. To view times press start then 5
