There is a small group of around 8 fanciers who have expressed an interest in forming a club to promote North Road racing in Scotland. The main parameters being that it does not conflict with the already operational Ayrshire North Road Federation and that the racing it wishes to promote is for 150 Miles and over to Fraserburgh and beyond. For the sake of clarity, it would be to promote racing from Fraserburgh, Thurso and Lerwick. The club will be based in Hurlford, near Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire.

The club boundary shall be governed by a minimum Racing Distance of 150 Miles from Fraserburgh.

All Lofts racing 150 miles or over to Fraserburgh will be eligible to join the Club.

This year we intend to organise a race from Fraserburgh on 8th June and from Lerwick on 22nd June. We have secured prize sponsorship for these races.

We hope to be successful in this venture and intend to promote around eight of these races on an annual basis.

Anyone who is interested in this venture please forward your contact details by PM and I will ensure that you are contacted with further information regarding the inaugural meeting scheduled for 22nd March.
