maiden7 Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I have been putting together a new stockloft, ideas may well have been used before, but if i do it via video when complete, keeping the forthcoming babies clean, and their surroundings clean can make life so much easier, for the fancier whos time may be limited.Basic ideas, cheap to incorporate, using B&Q tiles, which, at the moment are as cheap as peanuts as end of line stuff for £8,per box of tiles, 2 boxes and you've 18 widowhood boxes sorted. The shields for behind nest boxes are £1.75 in most cases, and soon adds up.Signmakers usingnthe plastic sheets at £20 per sheet, cut your own.All simple things, but may be of help to someone along the line.Cheqp steam cleaner, £20, and again, tiles cleaned and sanitised in. minutes.Smoke machine for bands, as little as £20 -and use Virkon S.No need for smoke bombs for red mite.Only observations by myself, but again, only hope the wise cracks dont come off the back of this, as its in the best intentions, as some people find others a threat to their opinion if you come to conclusions to quickly, and just a new one on the block, but there you go. HAPPY NEW YEAR
andy Burgess Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 will be interested to see ,un-sure about the use of tiles or how ,but again interesting .well done for some forward thinking ,hope it goes well.
