lenton1163 Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 has anybody used this and is it worth the money
greenlands Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 Never used it mate but I would think it will work if you make a small gap between two layers, say 3/4" to 1".That way you'll still get the ventilation and hopefully stop the rain JMO Lindsay
adam owen Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 getthe stuff from petron great stuff
fletch Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 use it as false doors on my stock lofts so can leave doors open all day
demolition man Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 has anybody used this and is it worth the money Have a look on ebay scaffold netting
Guest IB Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 I have used both. Used Petron stuff [contratex?]for outside doors, only comes in green, cuts out a lot of light, can't see the birds through it, and it doesn't stop the rain getting in. Used scaffolding net inside mainly as a false ceiling but also as a blind on section dividers to hide sexes from each other - can see the birds outline through it, but not enough to make out which one it is - and as a baffle to make sure theres no strong drafts. It comes in 6 colours and is 1/4 price of contratex, collects dirt & dust quickly but cheap & easy to replace. Wouldn't think it suitable for deflecting rain though, weave is too open.
