Had a young hen return to the loft with serious injury. As there was not signs of "Cuts" I returned everything to the body cavity and stitched her up with good old cotton and superglue.

Pigeons power of recovery is quite remarkable, having stitched a few up over the years. Depending how injuries are sustained a complete recovery (physically) is quick. How the pigeon copesmentally is a different kettle of fish. Your hen lookin' good.

A real good looking hen that mate and you made a good job of the repairs,at least on the outside,might tell when she gets a bit off stress when racing.Good luck with her.

Thanks, Have not raced for several years now just breeding and training. No doubt she will be found out along with many others when the hard training starts. :wacko:

 

Might try a round off her and see if if she can lay?
