What % do you add to your feed?
PIGEON_MAN Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 The % is different as the races get further according to the catalogue but for short to middle distance it says feed 50% morning and evening on a Thursday with just 15g per bird on a friday morning.

Wiley Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Bern what is your definition of an energy corn, earlier in the year I wrote a thread about my experiments with sprint feed and that I mixed some grains, I feel I created a high carb and high fat mixture, I feel the muscles expanded as the days went on leading to basketing.
Pompey Mick Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Is this a performance enhancing stimulant? If so, be careful.

Ryan Now that’s a good question, I would say an energy corn would be something that would enhance muscle growth aid stamina and endurance, This where the fine line would be with sprint and distance pigeons. Your mix seems ideal for the sprinters, I found with all my good sprinters up to 300ml they had what I called that upfront look, what I mean by that is they have bulging biceps like an Olympic sprinter which is what you seemed to have achieved with your mix. With the long distance pigeons, I am looking to build the stamina and endurance because the muscles would be less powerful to stop them tightening up over long distances. Now I might be talking bo-lox but it sounded good me.
