THE FIFER Posted August 10, 2012 Report Posted August 10, 2012 got a phone call at 4pm from a non fancier in Lundin Links near Largo in Fife, they were worried about a birds walking around in their area, it was getting fed so wouldn't leave, and the tried to catch it but couldn't so phoned the SHU who gave them my number, so along I went and saw those people trying to catch it, one had a net on a pole one had a basin another a box, I asked the lady with the rice for some, so put it in my hand and nelt down on one knee and held out my hand. it came right over and started eating out my hand so I just caught it right away, to an applaud from the croud who said they had been trying for an hour without success, anyway the bird SU12L12213 was in safe hands, so this made three strays I had so have put them in the Stray basket tonight,
