Faroes British Distance Pigeons

was talking to a old boy i use to help with the pigeons years ago when i was a lad!and he got on about Faroes British Distance pigeons he said they use to be good pigeons! does anybody race this strain of family any more? or a hybrid of it?

I RACE THEM GOOD BIRDS OVER 300 MILES. BUT HAD A GOOD BLUE HEN THAT 1ST CLUB 1ST SEC 9TH FED 54 MILE , 2ST CLUB 4TH SEC 16TH FED 43 MILES, 1ST CLUB 3TH SEC 22ST FED 128 MILES, 6TH CLUB 243 MILE , 5TH CLUB 367 MILES , 4TH CLUB 432 MILES AND 13 TIMES IN TOP 10 IN MIDWEEK CLUB 33 MILE TO 125 MILES IN ONLY 3 OLD BIRDS SEASON AND GOT KILLED BY A WIRE TRAINING. GOT 8 STOCK PAIRS OF THEM. GOOD PURE OR CROSSED OUT

YES 30 + YEARS AGO MY BIRDS ARE OFF THE LATE JIMMY BAITTIE SYMINGTON IN SCOTLAND NEAR BIGGAR I THINK.

 

I think Louella crossed them with Black Kruths (spelling).

Have a look at the map it's a fair water jump frpm Faroes to (I think Wales) was where the original Mealy cock raced to.
