Barbara and me spent time down at Tam and Liz place in Whaley Bridge last week at their cottage. I have been a lot of places on holiday and I can honestly say that last week was one of the best weeks I have had in years. The cottage is breath taking with spectacular views, the inside of the cottage is amazing its like a home from home everything you need is there and we wanted for nothing. Tam and Liz were the perfect hosts they could not help you enough and the walks round about the town and area are spectacular, down by the canal with the barges and the wild life it was great.I also had the pleasure in sharing in TAMS joy when he timed two of his pigeons from saintes 530 mile the first one home was his little griz hen who was 3rd club 8th sec last year timed on the nite, this year she was 2nd club 4th sec 22nd fed smashing little hen who is bred for the job ,the 2nd pigeon was a check who last year from saintes was 4th club 9th sec on the nite, this year it was 3rd club 5th sec 23rd fed ,fantastic flying by the two birds 2 year on the trot from 530 mile are quite scarce ,would just like to thank TAMMY and his good wife LIZ and not forgetting CHRISSY for the time they took to show us about ;) and we are booked up for next year

you will always be welcome mate as Liz and I had a great time when you were down but Liz is now getting set on having a little Acer and it was even better when you were here when the birds came, just as much a thrill this time with the same two hens as it was last time and all going well and we are lucky it might be third time lucky for either of them next year providing they are still there at the end of next year
