Guest Owen Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 "deal with it", what the heck is that about?I live in the Eastern Valley here in South Wales and it is like a nightmare with the peregrines. Everybody is loosing birds and trying to get the youngsters out to fly is very upsetting to say the least. I can honestly say that as your youngsters get above roof level the peregrine is there with them and at the early stage of their flying they have no chance. These idiots from the Raptor Organisations are akin to the Dog Fighters, Bull Baiters and other Blood lust clowns. I reckon that most of them are extensions of the School Yard Bullies who love to cause suffering as long as they do not get hurt themselves. You even get them on the Tele doing programmes about how predators kill centering their coverage on the violence of killing. The crazy barstuards love it. What they do not seem to understand is that most wild killers target the young and are able to exploit prey when it is at it's most vulnerable. I think we all know that the fact is that peregrines are very good at selecting the young, the old and the weak and they are not so clever when they are confronted with a fit experienced pigeon. I have noticed that in spite of the ever present Peregrines they do not have much interest in my widowhood cocks probably because they fly as a group and are well aware of what the peregrines are up to.At the moment life is easy for the Raptors because they have plenty of prey reared by people like us and the stray pigeons that we and others have allowed to live and breed in our towns and cities. The day we remove this source of artificial food will be the day that the truth will dawn on how the balance of Nature will be reestablished.I think that the Public might get upset at what these clowns are doing when the penny finally drops.
