sapper756 Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 dont understand why it wasnt closed after clock check on sat once it was was printed out ?? Some times if a fancier does not get a time in, or is late, they do not take their clocks to get struck off, but wait till the next marking night to get it struck off, I do not know if this is the case here. THE CLOCK WAS MENT TO BE CLARED AFTER THE RACE ON SUNDAY BY THE CLOCK SETTERS BUT WHEN ASKED Y HE DOSENT NO AM NOT THE ONLY ONE it sounds like a print off was taken, but the race was not struck off. jake12 Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 This seems to be happening since the clocks got an upgrade last week. If the clock was struck off and is still showing the birds you will notice if you put, or one of these birds go over the pad that it will change from the race naime to training. You can then clear training. Any bird that does not go over the pad can be cleared at the club by "KILL RACE". this will only affect birds from that particular race. I have already done this with two clocks and it will not affect any other races in the clock. I hope this helps but I think another update will be needed to correct this.

Guest IB Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Yes, can confirm that I have 2 races still on my clock, even though the first was struck off last Saturday. The second is due to be flown today (I hope). Unikon was updated prior to the 2 races being marked. The first sign that something had changed happened on Saturday when I timed 3/4 birds from the 1st race. When I came back up the road from clcok meeting, the 4th was there so I popped the clock back in to check its arrival time. The other 3 came back up, as usual, with the 4th showing too. Selected 'clear trainers' and only the last timed bird cleared, the other 3 were still showing up as individual ring numbers and I couldn't clear them until I went a trainer with those and other birds last night. All of the birds registered on ets from the trainer, and I was at last able to clear the individual ring numbers from my clock - problem over I thought, till I noticed the screen clearing to 'Marked 8'. There should only be 4 from the current race. So the closed race is still there, only difference is I can no longer see the idividual ring numbers of the birds marked for it.
midge Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 THE ONLY WAY TO CLEAR WOOLASTON IS TO KILL RACE TAMWILL SORT IT OUT

PIGEON_MAN Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 Can someone tell me what the updates were on the clocks that everyone seems to be talking about as we have heard nothing here or was it just for the Unikon clocks used in Scotland as I believe they are different.

dickyj Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 as far as i am aware the scottish unikon varies from ours in england. but i had the same problem a few weeks ago when i updatedour system to 3.8. the only way i got round this was,i deleted the race from the computer and synchronised all the clocks.all went back to normal after that. i must stress the fault only arose after the first race after i installed the upgrade.
PIGEON_MAN Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 From 3.7 to 3.8This update came out in March before the racing started how come you guys up there are only just having it put onto your clocks.
