A big thanks to Malcom Fowler at Ormiston, for lookin' efter ane o' ma favourite doos SU10NE3096 (aka The Duffer) , who finally arrived hame this week. He'd stopped off after the Ripon race, then went AWOL for a week, then returned to Ormiston injured. (Malcolm thought mebbe he'd hit a wire) Even at that was aye the first doo oot o the loft, so it was evident that he was TRYING tae get hame. That said, seemingly he was eyeing up ane o' Malcolms hens, so it was touch and go!! (she musta send him packin'!) He released on 13th June in the morning and was back in Lossie early evening, none the worse for wear. If Malcolm hadna mentioned the injury - I (bein' a novice) probably wouldn't have noticed anything out of the ordinary! Chuffed tae have him back though

aye susan its iye good tae see the birds hame, i handle every bird before they get basketed and when they return fae the race, that way i kaine if theres any bumps n scratches
