Tonight lads called the widowers down, and in like a flash a young bird banged through the doors with them. Picked it up expecting it to be one of our own checking the ring number it was a K ring and still squeaking. Thought must be local so gave the chap a call when he told me he was from Stafford my jaw nearly dropped, the poor chap nearly had a heart attack when I told him we was from London some 150 odd miles away. He lost the young bird last night. A very game young bird.
