Guest Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Some have asked what has been our largest dove release,I released 48 birds at my best friends funeral just over a year ago,one of the hardest releases iv had to do our largest release will be on friday the 28 august we will be releasing 60 birds plus we will have 4 display cages with our display birds.I have also been asked how do i handle a release at funerals,at first i found it very hard but you just have to get on with it,we attended a funeral last friday which was a 8 bird hand release this is one of the hardest releases you can come across as most have never held a bird before ,and its not all about earning out of it we love doing it

THE FIFER Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 I go to the Scottish Police College Tulliallan next month for the anniversary of the memorial, for officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, was there with the whites with princess anne when it was first opened, go each year now for the memorial,
Guest Posted August 3, 2009 Report Posted August 3, 2009 Do we train our release birds no we don't,we have found with our family of whites that there is no need,we have 4 familys of whites some have been crossed with all 4 familys to get the type of bird for the job.
