I find him quite refreshing Bob, not the sharpest pencil in the box for sure but funny as hell and its about time this place lightened up after all the crap that's gone on here.  As long as he isn't rude on purpose I think those of us longer in the tooth should tolerate James, at least he's keen.

I do tolerate him, but when he pm's me and apologises and I pm him back with a bit of good advice and he replies you are right Bob. Then in the next breath starts winding other people up, what do you do? I am only trying to explain things to him for his own good. I am the last one to criticise a good bit of banter, but it's knowing the right time and place to put your two pennyworth in. I am all for bringing kids into the sport and supporting and helping them, and you have been on here long enough to know that

But you need to respect the fact that not everyone shares your sense of humour James.  Bob isn't grumpy, he's just long in the tooth and trying to give you advice in the way he knows, lots of wise words come out of his mouth so take that into account and you'll do fine.  But do me a favour and don't ever stop being happy.
